“The Royal Enfield Classic 500 Pegasus Edition pays tribute to the paratroopers in the British Army during World War II & takes the inspiration from flying-Flea bikes”.

What’s different?

If we talk about the new specification about Royal Enfield Classic 500 Pegasus, the first thing you will notice its distinctive paint shades. The new classic bike launched in two colors – Service Brown & Olive Drab Green. Unfortunately, only Service Brown shade will be available on sale in India and the reason behind it, the government doesn’t give permission for military green shade to be used on civilian vehicles.

And the second thing is a unique serial number that will be stencilled on the fuel tank of the bike. More so, the things which make the bike more beautiful are brown handlebar grips, a leather strap with brass buckles over the air filter and military-style canvas panniers also.

At the heart of it though, the Pegasus Edition is modern and uses the same engine as in the standard Classic 500. It’s air-cooled, 499 cc single-cylinder engine makes 27.2 bhp at 5250 rpm and 41.3 Nm of peak torque at 4000 rpm.

The bike has the kerb weight of 194 Kg. Each motorcycle will be including canvas panniers, helmet, and a Pegasus collection t-shirt.

Isn’t interesting?
